Jamie graduated with a master’s degree in social work in May of 2021 and has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology from Metropolitan State University. Ms. Williams is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and she is also an Approved Treatment Provider for the Department of Corrections (ATP). She has broad experience, including roles at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Adams County Human Services. She has also volunteered as an advocate for CoNEHT. She wants to help empower individuals who are going through a difficult time. She strongly believes in facing traumas and accepting flaws so fiercely that they transform into strengths. A solid foundation and support system is crucial when it comes to rehabilitation and growth, and Ms. Williams would like to play a part in that support. Ms. Williams is passionate about working in the community and assisting previously incarcerated individuals with rehabilitation.
