Mrs. Battista is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who holds her Master Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Regis University. Mrs. Battista is trained in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which are all various treatment modalities that aid clients through the therapeutic process while meeting the client where they are at. Mrs. Battista is also an Approved Treatment Provider (ATP) through the Department of Corrections and is in the process of working towards completing her Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) licensure. When she is not working, she practices her own self-care by hanging out with her family, riding her motorcycle, and playing with her fuzzy four-legged children. Mrs. Battista has a passion for respecting the genuine humanness of each client, holding space for her clients to tell their stories, and aid in the therapeutic process through personal growth.
