Ms. Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds her Master Degree in Counseling Psychology from Regis University and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC), as well as an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Ms. Smith is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a treatment modality that aids clients in relieving stress symptoms while increasing resilience, and an Approved Treatment Provider (ATP) through the Department of Corrections. When she is not working, she enjoys being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family. Ms. Smith believes we can build resilience, heal, and grow given a chance to be seen and heard in a positive environment and through healthy connections.
