Kyle is an Unlicensed Psychotherapist (UP) and a Counselor in Training (CIT). He holds a bachelor’s science degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Human Services Department with a concentration in Addictions Counseling. He is formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as supplemental training and experience in therapy modalities related to Relationships Dynamics, Domestic Violence Offender Counseling, Trauma-Informed Care, Interpersonal Communication, and Healthy Parenting Skills. Kyle’s training, experience, and education are focused on meeting his clients without judgment to process core concerns and contributing factors related to Substance Use, Anger Management, and High Risk Thinking & Behavior. Kyle is also an Approved Treatment Provider (ATP) through the Department of Corrections and is pursuing his Master’s in Addiction Counseling (MAC). In his free time, Kyle plays Competitive-Level Airsoft, enjoys long bike rides, paddleboarding, listening to books and podcasts, drawing, and spending time with his rescued English Bulldog, Louie. Kyle is a firm believer in the power of self-acceptance & self-care and he has a passion for bringing these empowering beliefs to his clients, regardless of life circumstance.
