Ms. Rivera is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who holds her Master Degree in Community Counseling from Regis University and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Metropolitan State University. Ms. Rivera is trained in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Anger Management (Certified Anger Management Specialist), which are all various treatment modalities that aid clients through the therapeutic process while meeting the client where they are at. Ms. Rivera is also an Approved Treatment Provider (ATP) through the Department of Corrections and a Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS). When she is not working, she practices her own self-care by hanging out with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors and hanging out with her two dogs. Ms. Rivera holds a passion for working with the LatinX community but also has many years working with child welfare families and children, as well as with juvenile justice. Ms. Rivera holds space for clients to reach their personal growth using person-centered techniques.
