Maira is a Counselor in Training (CIT) and high school graduate from Abraham Lincoln High School. She is currently a student at The Community College of Denver and is working towards her bachelor’s degree in Human Services. She is also working towards her CAT and CAS certification and is an Approved Treatment Provider (ATP) through the Department of Corrections. Maira has a history of working with high-risk youth in the 17th Judicial District. She also has experience conducting screens and assessments for youth-centered Mental Health and Substance Use. Maira has always had a passion for helping others and wanting to better the community. She is passionate about helping and empowering individuals who have been going through difficult times. Maira wants to provide a safe and supportive place for individuals who want to grow and change.
